I"m pretty shure Chevrolet did not introduce the 350 V-8 until 1968. All 67 Camaros either RS or SS used the 327 (commercially) If a 350 was an option, in 67, i'd be a rare option. If I recall, back then Base engine for Camero were 250 CI inline 6 cyl. Upgrades were 283 V-8, 327 V-8, 396 V-8 and 427 V-8's if you could afford them.
This American version boasts an amazing road handling grip of over 1.0G, a sub 5 second 0-60, a top speed of 150 mph and twin piston front brakes quickly stop an ultra-light curb weight of less than 2000 lbs. The entire chassis is light weight hydro formed aluminum, the body is an aerodynamically shaped composite and the motor is an ultra high revving power-plant from Toyota producing over 100 horsepower per liter.
The new Malaysian-backed Lotus Formula One team has named two key executives to its lineup in the form of CEO Riad Asmat and COO Keith Saunt.
Malaysian Riad held a management position at Proton, owner of the Lotus road-car concern. Saunt worked for Lotus and Benetton before taking factory-based roles as COO of Red Bull Racing and director of Red Bull Technology. He will oversee technical operations on a day-to-day basis, reporting to Mike Gascoyne.
My two cents after talking to two people who have a zo6 and after driving a regular 6.2 a few times. The regular one is plenty nice, no need to pay way more for the ZO6. And it uses regular gas and its got such good mileage there is no gas tax on the beast in the USA. Plus its very simple to maintain and doesnt cost a fortune (by supercar standards). Its on par with an Audi R8 v8 in performance and the Ferrari 360 Modena !! And we are talking about the regular corvette here. And the body is soo pretty. I cant help staring when I see one.
